Disney asked Atticmedia to re-launch the Playhouse Disney site to make far more of the wealth of content for pre-school children and parents that lay beneath the surface. We consulted with Disney and came up with a long term digital strategy that has begun with creating the core of the site as an immersive journey through a 3D virtual world.
The site, which is the first collaboration between Atticmedia and Disney, features well known Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh and Donald Duck, who lead users into a rich and colourful fantasy landscape, launching the user into games and fun activities deeper in the site. Parents, and users, who wish to jump directly to content can use well designed menus to access brands and specific sub-sections immediately.
Atticmedia is now developing a raft of micro sites, campaigns and educational content for Playhouse Disney, versioning the site for 7 European territories and working on an ambitious phase II for the site.
